Vaccination

Why Get Vaccinated?

  • Vaccination allows your body to produce antibodies that protect you against the disease.
  • You become less contagious after vaccination.
  • The quantity of antibodies decreases over time, necessitating a booster shot.
  • Immunocompromised individuals may need an additional dose.
  • Breastfeeding does not require postponing vaccination.

By getting vaccinated, you protect yourself and help protect your loved ones and the entire community. Remember, vaccination is free and voluntary.

Vaccination Postponement

Please postpone your vaccination if you:

  • Feel unwell (fever, sore throat, cough, etc.)
  • Tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 15 days
  • Are currently in quarantine

Note: You must wait 15 days from the last symptom or the end of the quarantine before getting vaccinated.

Vaccination Restrictions

You cannot be vaccinated if you:

  • Have had a severe allergic reaction to a vaccine or medication
  • Have experienced anaphylaxis or angioedema related to any substance
  • Are allergic to PEG (polyethylene glycol) or polysorbate
  • Suffer from systemic mastocytosis or hereditary angioedema

If you fall into any of the above categories, please consult your doctor to arrange your vaccination, as vaccination at the pharmacy is not possible.
